Un momento tranquilo de confianza y esperanza propia

What If It All Works Out?

Do you ever notice how the first thing we reach for is everything that could go wrong?

That it isn't possible.
That we're not enough.
That it was never meant for us.

We're so used to asking "what if it doesn't?" that we forget to leave room for the other question.

This World Cup has had me thinking about that a lot.

About what happens to a room, a city, a whole country when millions of people decide to believe the same thing at the same time. About how someone always chooses to believe anyway, even when the odds look thin.

A quiet moment of reflection on hope and possibility

And it made me wonder.

What if it does?

What if the opportunity actually comes?

What if the dream that feels so far off stops being far off one day?

What if everything that lives in your head right now ends up being your life?

Sometimes we decide that because something is taking longer than we expected, it's never going to happen.

But life has never moved in a straight line.

Some roads need more time. More patience. More tries. That doesn't make them worth less.

I think one of the biggest acts of self-love is believing in yourself before there's any evidence you'll pull it off.

Picturing good futures even when the present looks nothing like them.

Because what we tell ourselves shapes how we walk toward what we want.

Repeat "I can't" long enough and you start living like it's true.

But choose to believe, even a little, and you start making room for things you couldn't see before.

That's what I want to hold on to this summer.

That things can turn out well.

That nothing has to be perfect to be good.

And that "not yet" has never once meant "never."

So the next time your head fills up with doubt, change the question.

Instead of "what if it doesn't?"

Try, just for a second —

What if it does? 🤍
