90% of the Time, I'm Daydreaming

Do you ever catch yourself living almost entirely inside your own head?

That's more or less the shape of my whole life, haha. I'm always somewhere ahead of myself — thinking about what I could be doing, how I picture things going, everything that could shift between now and next week.

And as much as I love running through scenarios where it all works out and I manifest exactly what I want, I do forget to be here sometimes.

I think the dreaming has a lot to do with how much I read. I also spend a lot of time writing new episodes of shows I love in my head, or sequels to my favorite films that don't exist anywhere but there.

Which means my expectations run high, and they don't always get met. Though as I said last time, that's usually how you find the other roads.

For now I'm happy being a complete bookworm — getting lost in stories with happy endings, falling for a new character every time I open something new.

All of it with the small hope that one day my life turns into one of those stories written by a woman.
